Does a torch lighter come with butane?
According to transportation safety regulations, lighters cannot be shipped with pre-filled butane gas , so you need to fill it with butane before use.

Why does the lighter not respond when the ignition button is pressed after filling with butane?
After filling the lighter with butane, let it stand for about 5 minutes to stabilize the gas, then try lighting again. If it still doesn’t work, check if the flame adjustment valve is set to minimum.

After refilling, why does the lighter “full” but still won’t light?
It might be “air lock”—air trapped in the lighter’s gas chamber blocks the butane. You can press the filling port lightly with a small pin to release the trapped air, then refill it again.
